KV2 AUDIO LAUNCH KX AUDIO
AND ANNOUNCE NEW DISTRIBUTOR
KV2 Audio have recorded Frankfurt’s ProLight+Sound exhibition as a busy and successful exhibition. The show provided the European launch platform for KV2 Audio’s new range of loudspeakers – KX Audio – aimed at the MI market, as well as the opportunity to announce the company’s new distributor for Germany – dblux Vertriebs GmbH.
Dblux defined itself as the right choice for KV2 Audio distributor through a shared affinity to the point source theory of loudspeaker design. KV2 Audio are committed to creating active speaker systems which share the clearest possible view of true audio with the audience – and it is this type of system rather than a line array product that dblux traditionally markets to its own customer base.
Thomas Feuerstein, dblux’s sales and marketing director, commented “dblux is very happy to be distributing KV2 Audio in Germany. The product is very high quality and reproduces clear and powerful sound, which our customers want and expect. We look forward to boosting KV2 Audio sales in Germany.”
Dblux hit the ground running with their new tenure by exhibiting a KV2 Audio ES system on stand at Frankfurt’s ProLight+Sound exhibition.
Meanwhile, on the KV2 Audio stand, the new KX Audio range of loudspeakers – aimed at the MI market – was showcased for European launch.
The KX Audio brand has been designed and built to the same exacting standards expected from KV2 Audio – the company recognised for producing some of the finest sounding PA products available today. Each loudspeaker in the new range incorporates the cutting edge of transducer design and supporting electronics, developed specifically for its application.
The KX Audio range is currently comprised of four loudspeaker cabinets:
KX 12
The KX 12 is a compact 2-way, high-output, full-range active speaker system. Its small footprint belies its output and despite its 12” woofer it successfully takes on many larger 15” models.
KX 15
The KX 15 is a 2-way, high-output, full-range active speaker system. Building on the success of the KX 12, KX 15 offers strong low frequency reproduction and a substantially increased overall output with its powerful 15” motor.
KX 1.2
KX 1.2 is the smallest subwoofer in the KX series and provides a substantial low frequency output that belies its size. Housing a single 12” Neodymium woofer it is a truly portable unit that can be used to extend the usable frequency range of any loudspeaker system.
Its extended low frequency response and high SPL make it an excellent choice for many applications.
KX1.5
For Larger applications the KX 1.5 with a single 15” Neodymium woofer offers increased output comparable to many larger 18”units. KX 1.5 delivers low frequencies with authority, weight, extreme sustained output and high definition.
